About the group

Folks Singing is a new singing group, open to everyone, learning folk songs, mainly from the 1960s and 1970s, by artists such as Donovan, Dylan, Peter Paul & Mary, The Seekers, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Marley, Woody Guthrie, Joan Baez and many more.  All songs are arranged in harmony, usually in three or four parts, and are sung a cappella, so no instruments, just voices.  No experience is necessary as all songs are taught line by line, by ear.

Sessions are on Tuesdays in term time, from 1pm -2.15pm in St Mark's Church, Oliver's Battery Rd South, SO22 4EU.  There is parking around the shops and side roads.

Sessions are £5 a week on the day, or terms are £40 (£4 a session) in advance.

If you would like to join or would like more information then please contact Jac on jac@folkssinging.com or text/call 07941 246685.
